First we headed to St. Paul's Cathedral, which was absolutely beautiful. I loved every bit of that gorgeous place. But I was really bummed that you weren't allowed to take pictures inside. But we did get some on top of the dome and in the front. GORGEOUS! I loved every bit of it, even listening to the audio tour, which was included in the ticket (too bad the audio tour wasn't exactly the most helpful in some cases). We also got to hear many different languages being spoken, because of the tourists and whatnot.
It was like 500 steps to the very top of the dome (where of course we went!). Oh my goodness. The views were AMAZING! Then we had to leave.
We then walked over to a huuuge park with grass and the Thames River. It was pretty nice, but a tad cool for a California wimp. Like me. We then walked over to see Buckingham Palace which was bea-u-ti-ful! Of course I got my picture there. As well as every single other place. But this was pretty cool! The guards were dressed in that typical English uniform with the huge hat. And then they had machine guns. (Well duh. The Queen stays there.) On our way to walk towards Big Ben we took a few photos at Westminster Abbey, where Prince William and Kate got married! It was very cool!
Finally, we made it to Big Ben. Maia was ecstatic. She even asked for her very own picture, (she doesn't really like her picture be taken all that much, like most little kids I guess). She said "Haylie, will you take a picture of me so I can remember it when I'm twenty and I live in New Zealand?" Of course munchkin. She is determined to go live in New Zealand. When she's twenty.
Keiren, Dad and Maia went on the "Eye" while Jaden, Mom and I watched some street performers and shopped a little. I also got a picture with a "guard" and then a telephone booth ran up and got in the picture. It was pretty funny! Then I got a shirt and a picture for Keiren and my room, which we ended up deciding to give to somebody because we found paintings for the same price (and a little prettier). After that we crossed a bridge over the Thames River (I think it's widest part and got some sandwiches for dinner at the cutest little cafe, which only cost fifteen pounds! That's pretty cheap. I just had a croissant, and I was perfect. After watching a few more street performers and getting on a bus, we got on our train and headed back to the Cox's home in Milton Keynes. Crash time!

Views at the top of St. Paul's Cathedral! (above and below)

The last flights of stairs looked like this ^
A view from the top deck of a red bus. Oh yes. we had to.
Big Ben!
These guys. cost me three pounds. Like 5 US dollars.
Street performers rock. There's no doubt about it!
A view from the bridge over the Thames. The Eye is only supported on one side, so it kinda seems to tip!
Awesomesauce!
